Why this exists
Grips are a trust decision. An athlete is choosing the one thing that sits between their hands and a bar they are about to hang their whole bodyweight from, and they are choosing it off a screen.
What a point means
One point, one place. Every point is the same size, because this map is about where grips are and not how many went there. Town points are snapped to an 11 kilometre grid, so no point ever sits on an athlete. No names, no dates, nothing that identifies anybody.
